Assistant Restaurant Manager

**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Supervise and train staff in customer service best practices, food handling, and cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization in both front-of-house and kitchen areas.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and presentation that meets quality standards.
- Support team management by fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee development.
**Skills**
- Proficiency in POS systems for efficient order processing and payment handling.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred, with knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling practices.
- Excellent team management abilities, capable of motivating staff while promoting a collaborative atmosphere.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with both customers and team members.
- Ability to supervise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
