**THE OPPORTUNITY - [Housing Services Manager] (Full-time)**

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Work with the Senior Leader and Housing Services Team to deliver housing programs and services for persons with disabilities.
- Implement a business plan for Housing Services within the assigned program area.
- Evaluate programs on an ongoing basis for strategic fit, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
- Support Team Leaders to plan and implement quality services for consumers.
- Act as a mentor and coach to front-line supervisors in all areas of performance management.
- Liaise with other disability service providers, community service providers, and funders for information sharing.
- Ensure strategies are in place to monitor and manage day to day operations of the portfolio area.

**WHAT YOU BRING**

We are looking to engage team members with diverse skills, experiences, and interests. These are some of the competencies and credentials we are looking for:

- Degree in Community Disability Services Studies or a related field and a minimum of five (5) years of experience working with individuals with disabilities; or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years managing and leading a team of employees.
- Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills.
- Effective problem solving and independent decision making skills.
- Strong planning and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated operational leadership, team building and related skills including coaching, mentoring and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrate effective writing, public speaking and group facilitation skills.
- Demonstrate knowledge of disability issues and experience in non-profit sectors.
- Demonstrate a high standard of professionalism aligned with Vecova values
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all Vecova team members
- Represent Vecova in a professional manner
- Demonstrate a high level of initiative and enthusiasm
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Demonstrate a high level of administrative and IT capacity
