**Your Role within PIB**

As a Life & Group Benefits Account Executive, working in our British Columbia region, your objective will be to achieve sales targets, expand regional sales and grow a profitable block of business. We are looking for a dynamic energetic professional interested in helping clients feel confident in the decisions they make. The role focuses on pro-active sales with relationship building in collaboration with PIB’s marketing & support teams, carrier contacts, networks and center of influences within our PIB divisions.

**You within our PIB Team**
- Maintain and enhance relationships with our existing book of business clients in the assigned territory.
- Underwriting negotiations and planning with client and carrier for optimal retention and satisfaction.
- Prepare and conduct renewal meetings and sales presentations within our Life, Living Benefits and Group products and services while representing the PIB team and complete suite of offerings.
- Network, identify opportunities and foster leads following sales cycle from needs analysis, planning techniques, quoting and presenting market appropriate products and services.
- Key contributor with RFP process. Providing solution focused in-depth market analysis for our prospects and clients.
- Provide guidance and support to our internal teams.
- Ability to travel is a must.

**What you need to have**
- LLQP License (preferred/must be able to obtain).
- Sales experience, ability to negotiate to resolution striving to exceed sales and retention targets.
- Experience in the group insurance industry specifically in employee benefits, including underwriting, sales and renewals.
- Strong time management, communication, decision making, client relations, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance and administration initiatives.
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with clients and PIB team members.
- Ability to perform as an effective tactical and strategic thinker.
- Group Benefits - CEBS or GBA designation an asset.
