THIS IS CANNABIS."** **Qualifications** - _**Knowledge of licensed cannabis retail products and industry is a huge asset**_ - Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with strong supervisory experience. - Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence others effectively. - Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail in inventory management and merchandising practices. - Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. - Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential. - Experience in training & development of staff members to enhance their performance and career growth. - Ability to manage time effectively while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities** - Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service. - Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training of new hires. - Receive weekly cannabis product orders every Tuesday. - Manage inventory control processes to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize shrinkage. - Conduct regular audits of inventory and sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. - Implement effective merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and drive sales. - Handle reporting on payroll and other in shop KPI's in accordance with company policies. - Foster a positive work environment through effective communication. - Engage in recruiting efforts to attract top talent for the store team. - Order all accessories for sale in the shop through our wholesale suppliers. - Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling, pricing, and customer service standards. - Ensure compliance with cannabis industry regulations, bylaws, and standards. - Maintain an inspection log per the BC Cannabis Handook. - Other duties as required. **Terms of Employment** - Must be at least 19 years old - Available position for full-time - Successful applicant must complete “Selling it Right” through the BC Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch if they have not already - Store hours are 9am-11pm every day so applicants must be able to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required **Job Types**: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Extended health care - On-site parking - Store discount Work Location: In person
