Retail Sales Associate

**Duties**:

- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions and process payments
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock shelves and merchandise products as needed
- Upsell products and promote current promotions or sales
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Assist with inventory management and restocking

**Skills**:

- Able to drive with a current clean driving licence
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong technical sales knowledge and ability to explain product features to customers
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and assist multiple customers simultaneously
- Proficiency in operating a POS system for cash handling and transaction processing
- Ability to upsell products and provide recommendations based on customer needs
- Experience in retail sales, with a strong understanding of customer service principles
- Cash handling experience, including counting money, providing change, and processing credit card transactions

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

- Serving It Right (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Whistler, BC V8E 0X1 (required)

Ability to Relocate:
