Vanee Farm Centre has been serving Southern Alberta for over 50 years as a trusted leader in agricultural equipment. We are seeking a Human Resources & Safety Coordinator to provide both strategic and operational leadership across our four branches (Lethbridge, Claresholm, High River, Taber).

As the HR professional, you’ll be relied upon by leadership and staff to ensure compliance, manage programs, and strengthen workplace culture. This is a unique opportunity to operate independently while making a strategic impact across the organization.

This is a remote-hybrid role: some work can be done from home, but you’ll also regularly travel between Lethbridge, Claresholm, High River, and Taber to deliver training, provide on-site support, and lead safety programs.

Key Responsibilities
- Full-cycle HR: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations.
- Administer payroll, benefits, pensions, and leaves (PayWorks, Alberta Blue Cross).
- Lead OHS programs and WCB case management (claims, modified work, training).
- Advise leadership on HR compliance, workforce planning, and engagement strategies.
- Support culture-building through surveys, recognition programs, and community initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years of progressive HR experience; CPHR designation (or working toward it) an asset.
- Solid understanding of Alberta Employment Standards, OHS Code, and WCB processes.
- Experience with payroll/benefits administration (PayWorks preferred).
- Strong organizational, coaching, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive independently across multi-site operations (Class 5 licence required).

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
