**About the Role**

Southland Trailers is looking for a **HR Administrator** to join our team In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our HR department, providing support to our team members, driving HR initiatives, and ensuring that our workplace culture remains strong and aligned with the company’s core values.

**What You’ll Do**
- **Support HR functions**: Assist with the full-cycle HR process by providing administrative support in recruitment, onboarding, team member relations, and performance management.
- **Provide administrative assistance**: Help maintain accurate team member records, HR databases, and filing systems to ensure smooth HR operations.
- **Assist with benefits and compensation programs**: Support the administration of benefits, compensation, and attendance programs, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
- **Assist with team member inquiries**: Act as a point of contact for general team member relations questions and help resolve day-to-day HR-related issues when the HR Generalists are unavailable.
- **Track HR metrics and reports**: Assist in preparing HR reports, tracking key HR metrics, and analyzing trends to improve HR efficiency.
- **Coordinate team member engagement initiatives**: Support HR in executing programs that encourage a positive and engaged workplace culture.
- **Serve as an HR support resource**: Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to HR leadership and respond to general HR-related inquiries from team members.

**What We’re Looking For**
- **Bachelor’s Degree** in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
- **2-3 years of experience** in an HR Administrator or HR-related role with a solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and compliance.
- **Strong attention to detail**, with a commitment to ensuring accuracy in all HR-related documentation and tasks.
- **Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite** (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiar with HRIS systems and related tools for managing HR functions.
- **Excellent communication skills**, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently at all levels of the organization.
- **Strong organizational and time management skills**, able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- **Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information** with discretion and professionalism.
- **Proactive problem-solving skills**, with a focus on identifying issues and implementing solutions to improve HR processes and team efficiency.
- **Experience with recruitment and onboarding processes**, with a strong understanding of best practices in team member relations and performance management.
- **Collaborative team player**, with the ability to work independently while effectively contributing to a team.
- **Familiarity with labor laws and HR regulations**, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- **Ability to adapt to changing priorities** and work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- **Basic knowledge of graphic design** or an eye for creating visually appealing HR communications (e.g., internal newsletters, presentation materials).
