**Who we are looking for**:
Triple Eight Transport Inc. is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk. You’ll bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as solid computer skills, time management, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

**Responsibilities include**

**General Payroll**:

- Prepare and submit paystubs for salary and hourly employees
- Support all aspects of company departments
- Reconciling vacation and sick employees
- Manage employee benefits
- Assist in month end reporting procedures
- Perform filing and general administrative tasks
- Assist accounting personnel with any other tasks conducted within the accounting department
- Completion of full cycle payroll and year end reporting

**Driver Payroll**:

- Calculating Driver City hours
- Monitor vendor WCB
- Liaise with other departments/drivers/vendors
- Settlement of trip sheets
- Upload fuel entries in system
- Other duties as required
- Planning and organizing including scheduling and prioritizing work tasks to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Possesses a Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certification
- Communication skills
- verbal and written
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Able to identify problems and implement workable solutions
- Works effectively as a part of a team
- Minimum of one year of experience in Transportation industry is an asset
- Experience in Great Plains Software is an asset
- Must be legally allowed to work full time in Canada
