**Main Purpose of the Job**:
The purpose of this position is to work with the Training Manager and the Manager of the Support Program to oversee the programming offered by the FASD Network.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Human Resource Management**
- Provide supervision and guidance to their respective team
- Oversee programming and services provided by team
- Approve timesheets, expense claims, and time-off requests submitted by team
- Assist the Manager of the Support Program with recruiting and training new hires
- Assist the Manager of the Support Program with performance evaluations and any human resource matters

**Programming**
- Oversee programming delivered by the organization.
- Work with the Finance and Marketing Director to ensure all programs are meeting the deliverables and performance targets laid out in the organization’s funding agreements
- Provide guidance to team members delivering programming
- Assist in the development and delivery of programming
- Work with team to promote programming and recruit attendees
- Conduct regular meetings to coordinate responsibility for all aspects of the programming
- Ensure record documentation and handling is consistent
- Compile quarterly reports and additional reporting as required
- Develop and maintain knowledge of and relationship with community resources.
- Perform administrative tasks and other duties related to services provided through the program
- Engaging with regional community professionals to educate them about the FASD and the FASD Network.
- Creating partnerships with professionals working to provide guidance and strategies that are FASD-informed.
- Develop and maintain a network of referral and community connections, related to the justice system and community agencies.
- Provide advocacy on behalf of families to ensure appropriate service provision
- Provide one-on-one support and case management to complex case files as
- Assist with Caregiver, Peer or Youth Support Meetings as needed

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Complete reporting as directed
- Provide assistance with all special projects undertaken by the organization
- Respond to calls on the toll-free line
- make referrals and take action as necessary.
- When requested, deliver educational presentations and group training on behalf of the Network.
- Other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director, Finance and Marketing Director, Manager of the Support Program, or Training Manager.

**Other Requirements**
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends as the position requires
- Travel may be expected, including overnights
- Must have access to a vehicle

**Qualifications**:

- Related education such as Social Work
- 1-2 years of experience working with families who have a member living with a cognitive disability
- Knowledge of FASD is an asset
- Ability to use various computer programs including Microsoft and Google Suite.
- Understanding of and/or Experience with Trauma-informed and harm reduction practice
- Ability to Work Independently and with a Team
- Detail Oriented and Organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
