Inside Sales Representative

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to all customer inquiries by determining material availability, conformance to customer requirements, and delivery to secure orders.
- Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from inquiries, and other QRC personnel.
- Maintain customer quote files and effective follow-up
- Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers.
- Advise management on product inventory needs
- Quotation hit ratios, Won/Loss reports.
- Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.
- Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules
- Builds and maintains customer relationships.
- Works with outside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
- Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
- Assists in coordinating with inventory manager and other outside material sources for costs associated with products being quoted.
- Coordinates with Engineering and Purchasing on entry of new product items into system database.
- Conforms to all aspects of sales to Export Compliance requirements as set by US Govt law and QRC Valves rules
- Aid in meeting or exceeding planned sales objectives.
- Develop thorough understanding of technical attributes of products sold by QRC.
Other duties may be assigned.
**Qualifications and Education Requirements**

- 2-3 years of Inside Sales Experience selling in an industrial market or valve sales.
- Thorough Understanding of Industry Standards, Testing, and Requirements.
- Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.
- Knowledge of ERP Systems and/or order entry and inventory systems required. Epicor Profit 21 is a PLUS.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical specifications, documents, drawings and governmental regulations.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Must have a working knowledge of computers and the ability to learn basic software.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Bilingual (French and English) would be a benefit.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
