Farm Girl Inc. is a Toronto-based cereal manufacturer focused on producing high-protein, low-sugar extruded cereals. We work directly with farmers and use advanced extrusion technology to create innovative, better-for-you breakfast products.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up, operate, and monitor twin-screw extrusion lines for cereal production
- Adjust parameters such as feed rate, screw speed, temperature, and moisture to maintain consistent product quality
- Lead and train production staff on extrusion best practices and safety procedures
- Record process data and troubleshoot variations in torque, expansion, or texture
- Perform basic maintenance and changeovers on the extruder and related equipment
- Work with QA and R&D to support new product trials and process improvements
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with GMP and HACCP standards

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of experience operating twin-screw extruders in a food or cereal manufacturing setting
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret process data
- Understanding of ingredient functionality, hydration, and extrusion cooking principles
- Experience with packaging, drying, and coating systems an asset
- Ability to lift 25 kg and work in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

**Schedule**:

- Full-time, on-site
- Day shift (occasional flexibility may be required)

**Compensation**:

- Competitive hourly wage based on experience
- Benefits package available after probation period
