Kal-Polymers is looking for a **MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) Coordinator** who will play a critical role in ensuring that all maintenance-related materials and services are available to keep the production equipment running smoothly.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate inventory levels of MRO supplies (spare parts, tools, lubricants, etc.).
- Monitor reorder points and place orders to avoid stockouts.
- Organize and label inventory in storerooms or warehouses.
- Source and order MRO materials and services from approved suppliers.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- Evaluate vendor performance and maintain good relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times as needed.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to identify required parts and tools for scheduled and emergency repairs.
- Track and issue parts for preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.
- Maintain documentation of parts usage and work order history.
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track MRO items, maintenance tasks, and inventory usage.
- Update database with new parts and retire obsolete items.
- Generate regular reports (usage, costs, downtime impact).
- Ensure all stored materials meet safety and environmental compliance standards.
- Participate in audits and inspections related to MRO supplies and procedures.
- Promote 5S principles and good housekeeping in MRO areas.
- Monitor MRO spending and support cost-saving initiatives.
- Work with the maintenance manager to manage the MRO budget effectively.
- Identify opportunities for standardization and consolidation of parts.
- Participate in lean manufacturing, 5S, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), or Kaizen activities.
- Recommend improvements in storage layout, procurement processes, and vendor management.
- Liaise between maintenance, production, purchasing, and finance departments.
- Communicate supply issues or delays promptly to stakeholders.

**Key Skills and Tools**:

- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of plastics processing equipment and parts (e.g., injection molding machines, extruders)
- Proficiency with CMMS or ERP systems; knowledge and experience using EPICOR is an advantage
- Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of maintenance terminology
- Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
