**POSITION: Marketing Intern**

**LOCATION: HYBRID: Work-From-Home / 1031 Bank St. Ottawa, ON**

**TERM**:8 Months**

This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart their career in marketing while gaining valuable experience within a supportive team environment.

The Marketing Intern will work with Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing department staff to develop and implement marketing programs that reinforce the value of Insurance Products sold through CAA North and East Ontario (CAANEO) and the benefits for CAA Members.

The Marketing Intern will execute marketing tactics across diverse channels, including direct & digital marketing. Our data-driven strategies engage our target audiences and differentiate CAANEO within the marketplace.

The Marketing Intern possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating their ability to convey ideas and messages effectively. They are equipped with strong project management and multitasking abilities, enabling them to handle multiple marketing initiatives with efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:
Campaign Development & Execution
- Write effective and clear communications briefs for marketing campaigns
- Support the creation of compelling messaging and visuals that resonate with target audiences and align with brand identity
- Implement direct marketing tactics to deliver personalized and targeted communications

Data Analysis & Decision Marketing
- Utilize marketing analytics tools, particularly Power BI and Bloomreach, to analyze campaign performance, customer behaviour, and key performance indicators
- Make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing strategies, improve ROI, and refine targeting approaches
- Conduct A/B testing and gather data to refine marketing campaigns and website performance
- Complete reporting & tracking of campaign results

Process Management
- Support team with other ad-hoc data-driven processes

Education & Experience:

- Recently graduating from college or university with a degree in business or marketing
- Past summer experience in the field of marketing is an asset
- Proficiency in basic computer programs (excel, word, powerpoint)

- Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and process oriented
- Analytical mindset and data-driven decision making

**Compensation**:

- Salary: $45,000 per annum
- CAA Membership.

Employment is contingent on a successful Criminal Background Check and references.
