**POSITION: Marketing Intern**

**LOCATION: HYBRID: Work-From-Home / 1031 Bank St. Ottawa, ON**

**TERM**:8 Months**

Supporting the Membership Marketing team, the Marketing Intern will execute marketing tactics across diverse channels, including direct & digital marketing. Our data-driven strategies engage our target audiences and differentiate CAANEO within the marketplace.

The Marketing Intern is innovative and creative, constantly striving to generate new marketing ideas and captivate the attention of the target audience. They have a proactive and adaptive approach to handling dynamic marketing challenges and will contribute to driving revenue growth and enhancing the overall customer experience.

The Marketing Intern possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating their ability to convey ideas and messages effectively. They are equipped with strong project management and multitasking abilities, enabling them to handle multiple marketing initiatives with efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:
Campaign Development & Execution
- Write effective and clear communications briefs for marketing campaigns
- Support the creation of compelling messaging and visuals that resonate with target audiences and align with brand identity

Data Analysis & Decision Marketing
- Utilize marketing analytics tools, particularly Power BI and Bloomreach, to analyze campaign performance, customer behaviour, and key performance indicators
- Make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing strategies, improve ROI, and refine targeting approaches
- Conduct A/B testing and gather data to refine marketing campaigns and website performance
- Complete reporting & tracking of campaign results

Process Management
- Support team with other ad-hoc data-driven processes

Education & Experience:

- Recently graduating from college or university with a degree in business or marketing
- Past summer student experience in the field of marketing is an asset
- Proficiency in basic computer programs (excel, word, powerpoint)

- Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and process-oriented
- Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making

**Compensation**:

- Salary: $45,000 per annum
- CAA Membership.
