Job Title: Dispatcher
- Department: Operations
- Location: On-site
- Reporting to: Operations Manager / Director of Operations**OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE**:
To schedule drivers to pick up and deliver loads to/from customers or vendors.**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Dispatch Responsibilities**
- Dispatches to driver’s delivery orders and stick to their appointed arrival times and destinations.
- Keeps customers informed and answering questions.
- Dispatchers help drivers to concentrate on routes and roadways and to safely deliver their cargoes.
- Answering phones when drivers need assistance.
- Administrative role by filing the appropriate paperwork, monitoring driver progress, processing orders and managing driver concerns.
- Develop delivery routes and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day.
- Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers
- Act as a communication liaison answer incoming phone calls from drivers on the road
- Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes
- Monitor any sudden route changes or road construction issues and work with drivers to establish new routes for timely deliveries

**MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**

A diploma or degree in Business Management or Logistics or Transportation shall be preferred- 1 Year of related experience

- A combination of related experience, education, and training can be considered**Shifts Details**:

- 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
