Snow Queen Winter Management, one of Vancouver’s largest winter service providers, seeks on-call dispatchers to join our operations team.

Join the thrilling and adrenaline-pumping world of winter services. When the snow starts falling, you’re going to want to be involved As a dispatcher for Snow Queen Winter Management, you will be a highly integral part of the team that will require being able to focus and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while under pressure. During a snow event, clear and concise communication in English between you, the dispatcher, snow removal teams on the ground, and operations is necessary. Ensuring teams on site are on track to meet critical timelines and have the operational support they require. You will be trained on our proprietary dispatch & management software and will be able to demonstrate logical solutions to problems that may arise in the field.

This on-site position at our operational headquarters in Port Coquitlam provides flexibility for those looking for an on-call position, with opportunities for advancement.

Compensation: Dispatch rate of $40/hr

Overview

Under the general supervision of a Dispatch Supervisor and reporting to Snow Queen’s Operation Manager, a Dispatcher performs a variety of operational functions such as:

- Typing technical and non-technical material.
- Entering, maintaining & cross-referencing data inputs into management software.
- Dispatch of contractors & team members via dispatch software.
- Handling incoming & outgoing phone calls.
- Corresponding and delegation of information to contractors & team members.
- Assigning contractors & team members tasks and ensuring efficient completion.
- Detailed note-taking and recording of pertinent details.
- Other various tasks that may be assigned.

Supplemental pay types:
