**Main Responsibilities**:
Burlington, On L7S 1A8

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform maintenance duties on highway infrastructure as required in the Area Maintenance Contract. This includes debris control, litter picking, grass cutting and graffiti removal
- Develop an understanding of the performance requirements in the Area maintenance contract. For E.g. requirements about catch basins, ditch inlets, potholes, grass etc.
- Conduct daily circle checks on vehicles. Ensure fuel and other fluid levels are optimum. Clean and maintain the vehicle and perform minor repairs
- Maintain accurate documentation - Hours of service, Fuel records, Incident reports, Timesheets, Diaries, Logs etc.
- Assist with general duties to ensure cleanliness and order within the shop, lunchroom, washroom, common areas and exterior of yard
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- G or G2 class driver’s license would be an asset
- Excellent team player to work productively in a highly functional team
- Flexibility and organizational skills to multi-task and manage time in a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities
- Basic computer skills to operate the computer and use MS Office
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) to accurately document daily activities, incident reports and deficiency logs
