We are a growing and dynamic culinary team that allows you to display your abilities and passion for food. We are looking for someone who is familiar with food prepping and plating in large quantities while maintaining quality and creativity.

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years industry related experience
- Food Handlers Certificate
- Can work in fast-paced, highly productive team environment
- Can lead the team in executing food service when needed
- Able to lift/carry/push supplies or equipment weighing up to 40lbs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexible schedule (Weekend availability, day, and night shift)
- Able to stand and walk for more than 5 hours
- Professional, positive & outgoing personality
- Have reliable transportation to commute to and from work

**Responsibilities**:

- Cook and prepare the necessary food items for events and casual catering clients.
- Prepare and plate food in accordance with Aquatopia's presentation standards.
- Adhere to standardized recipes and specifications to maintain consistency and portion control.
- Keep workstations clean and organized, including fridges/freezers, countertops, stovetops, ovens, sinks, pantry, and inventories.
- Have full knowledge of menu, ingredients, and methods of preparation.
- Operate all kitchen equipment in a safe manner.
- Ensure all food products are handled, stored, prepared, and served safely in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Report all deficiencies in kitchen equipment functionality and quality of food products.
- Work and communicate closely with the team to ensure the process of executing food service during events and for catering clients is successful.
- Complete necessary tasks instructed by the executive chef.

**Experience**:Chef or Sous Chef: 3 years (preferred)

**Expected start date**: Immediately

**Must have own transportation**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 44 per week
