**We are seeking experienced and motivated Servers to join our team at Sidebar Grill. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide exceptional customer service to our guests, by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring all guests have an enjoyable and memorable dining experience.**

Sidebar Grill is brand-new restaurant in the heart of Langley opening this summer. Our vision for Sidebar Grill is to create a dining atmosphere that seamlessly blends comfort and sophistication. **Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times and provide exceptional customer service to guests.
- Make every effort to be knowledgeable about our products and menus; Attend pre-shift meetings.
- Greet guests, present menus, and provide recommendations for food and beverages.
- Listen to guests’ needs and make every effort to fulfill them.
- Take orders accurately and enter them into Sidebar’s ordering system.
- Ensure the flow of the dining experience is consistent with the restaurant standard.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety, food safety, and all health and safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies.
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned and/or directed

**Education and Qualification Requirements**:

- **High school diploma or equivalent.**:

- **Legal drinking age in the province of employment (19 years old).**:

- **Minimum 2-years serving experience required.**:

- WHMIS training required - on premises training provided.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, control, and composure in difficult and stressful situations.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills with the ability to efficiently work within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player, punctual for shifts, and reliable to execute work as assigned.
- Outgoing personality, positive attitude, and strong communication skills.
- Able to communicate and understand our guests’ predominant language(s).
- Have a working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and common drink recipes.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods (up to 5 hours).
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Part-time hours: 8-40 per week
