Project Manager, Interactive Production

9 Story is a boutique entertainment firm with a deep knowledge of the kids and family production and distribution business. We are known for our best-in-class, award-winning animated and live action content across key digital platforms.

We are looking for a Project Manager - Interactive Production to lead the creative direction of interactive games, aligning the content, objectives, and audience engagement goals with stakeholder requirements. Working closely with Production and Current Series & Special Projects, you will head interactive production and collaborate with series development, production, marketing and enterprise teams to ensure consistency in the world-building, character development and extension of our brands through interactive.

**Key Responsibilities**

Oversee full life cycle production of Interactive content, including but not limited to:

- In collaboration with production, prepare RFP & lead vendor selection
- Deliver all interactive content on schedule and on budget.
- Manage creative lead (freelance creative needs identified on a project-to-project basis).
- Liaise with Series Creators/Production to ensure brand identity and creative voice is maintained through game production.
- Liaise with key clients to ensure games are delivered according to their specifications, creative and audience goals.
- Manage multiple game developers across multiple series.
- Assist with tracking budgets and invoices for Interactive slate.
- Maintain interactive master schedule and launch rollout plans.
- Approve all key digital elements (including concepts, game design documentation, wireframes, UI Design, design comps, illustrations, sound design, prototypes, builds, promotional assets, etc.) to ensure they align with creative and educational goals.
- Assist Marketing to help promote fandom, brand visibility, sponsorship interest and/or revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with Legal to ensure compliance with online privacy laws (e.g. COPPA and GDPR) and develop detailed contracts/agreements with external vendors. Assist with contract creation and review with the Legal team.
- Participate in internal and external presentations as needed.
- Track stats on previously launched and upcoming game launches through partner analytics.

**Key Requirements**

**Experience**:

- 5+ years experience in a project management role, children’s content experience a plus
- Expertise in producing interactive websites, games, apps and digital media for kids
- Extensive experience working with developer studios across varied pipelines, project types, budget scopes and digital initiatives.
- Experience in script and copywriting for games and animation.
- Experience working with series creators, production teams, broadcast networks, voice talent, creative agencies, designers, programmers, educators and managing vendor relationships.

What you bring:

- Strong presentation skills.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Applied use of Adobe Creative Software, specifically Audition, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
- Familiarity with SCRUM processes
- Detail oriented with superior organizational skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
- Self-motivated, ability to take initiative and a professional collaborative attitude
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software & systems
- Capable of handling multiple series/ clients simultaneously while working in a fast-past environment
