Job Description
Procurement Co-Op
Location: Brampton, ON Type: FT / Winter Department: Supply Chain
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
- Competitive pay starting Rate: $22.00 -$24.00 per hour
- Option to stay on after the Summer break

WHEN YOU JOIN US, YOU WILL BE;
- Assist purchasing managers in gathering and analyzing data (20%)
- Calculate supply quantities using provided forecasts (20%)
- Receive & document sample products utilizing software tools such as Inspyrus (10%)
- Maintain good record keeping practices (15%)
- Provide support and collect supplemental data from IKO production plants (10%)
- Design & implement strategic procurement projects (15%)
- Contribute to additional purchasing initiatives that may arise (10%)
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;
- 2nd+ year University student
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (required)
- Experienced with advanced Excel functions (preferred)
- JD Edwards and/or purchasing environment experience (preferred)
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work cooperatively across multiple functions.
- Successful as a team player with a positive, adaptable attitude
- Possess effective oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility
Hours/ Days / Schedule
- Hours of work will be primarily Monday through Friday
