**Overview**
The Human Resources Co-op Student is responsible for assisting Human Resources Team with a focus on supporting Recruitment and Administration in the HR Department. This position is in the office to support a fast paced unionized automotive manufacturing plant located in Brampton. The role will require a high level collaboration with the HR Team and supervisors. Strong organizational, interpersonal and written and oral communication skills are essential.

Monday to Friday; 8:00am to 4:30pm

**Specific Responsibilities**
- Support the Global Director of HR and HR Business Partner in day to day administration.
- Assist with recruitment by posting jobs internally and externally, phone screening, scheduling interviews, attending interviews, reference checks, testing, onboarding, and new hire orientation/training.
- Scan and upload documents to UKG.
- Maintain department physical and electronic files, including employee files.
- Update and maintain procedures, forms, work instructions, and other documents as required.
- Update communication boards and screens.
- Assist with employee events.
- High level of confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Currently enrolled or have recently completed a post-graduate or post-secondary program focused on Human Resources.
- Prior administrative experience is required.
- Prior work experience in Human Resources is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment.
