Road Service Technician

Greater Toronto Area, Canada CE Aerial Lift Services Ltd. Full time

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Road Technician will be responsible for travelling from job site to job site to diagnose problems and repair construction equipment and machinery on a daily basis.

**Responsibilities**

Ø Effective and appropriate communication (internally and externally) with managers, supervisors, customers and fellow colleagues

Ø Maintain a clean and safe work area, and adhere to all safety procedures

Ø Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed

Ø Perform repairs on equipment, independently, with little or no supervision

Ø Maintain mechanical condition of equipment

Ø Maintain positive working relationships with all customers and fellow-employees

Ø Manage work van parts and inventory

Ø Continue to update qualifications as technology changes

Ø Additional duties/special projects as assigned

**Qualifications**

Ø Manufactures training is an asset

Ø Service technician experience

Ø Aerial Background preferred but not limited

Ø Experience working with aerial equipment is an edge ie.Genie, JLG and Skyjack equipment

Ø Must have valid “G” driver’s license

Ø Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations simultaneously

Ø Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills are a must

Ø Previous experience and/or knowledge of the methods and procedures used in the repair and maintenance of all types of vehicles and equipment

Ø Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Ø Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulics and troubleshooting skills

Ø Working knowledge of diagnostic equipment and procedures

Ø Excellent customer relation skills

**Salary**: From $65,000.00 per year
