We are looking for a skilled Senior Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks. **Duties and responsibilities** - Performs together with the finance team all duties associated with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions - Performs full cycle month-end close process including preparing journal entries, accruals and reconciliations - Prepares monthly credit card reconciliations and related journal entries - Acts as a liaison and builds relationships with all departments to resolve accounting issues - Works closely with other team members to coordinate responsibilities and prioritize tasks to ensure that all key deadlines are met - Files monthly sales tax and EHT returns - Provides direction and feedback to junior assistants - Assists in the preparation for the annual audit - Participates in the rollout of finance projects and initiatives - Identifies opportunities for efficiencies and improvements - Performs other duties as required **Qualifications** - Minimum of 3 years Canadian accounting experience - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business (preferred) - Experience with Amazon Accounting - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Familiarity with US accounting - Advanced computer skills including ERP systems, Microsoft Office - Experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite system (preferred) - Flexibility of hours is required - Ability to effectively multi-task and work in a fast paced, business environment - Manage work with minimum supervision **Benefits**: - Competitive Pay - Store Discount - Extended Health Benefits - Being surround by people and products you **_love_** - Only those selected for an interview will be contacted._
