**Responsibilities**:
- **Carpentry Expertise**: Perform advanced carpentry tasks, including framing, door installation, trim work, drywall, insulation, and flooring. Proficient use of construction power tools is essential.
- **Project Coordination**: Review and understand project plans and schedules. Coordinate materials, personnel, and timelines effectively. Maintain clear communication with clients, addressing concerns professionally and providing updates on progress.
- **Quality Assurance**: Ensure high standards of durability, aesthetics, and functionality throughout each project. Monitor quality proactively and address issues as they arise.
- **Leadership and Team Building**: Supervise and mentor carpenters and general labourers on-site. Foster a positive and motivating work environment while providing guidance and coaching. Collaborate with the Project Manager to align team efforts.
- **Site Management**: Oversee subcontractors and enforce safety protocols on-site. Maintain security and proper handling of company tools and equipment.
- **Customer Service and Professionalism**: Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and lead by example. Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a commitment to continuous professional growth.
- **Hands-On Leadership**: Actively participate in carpentry and construction tasks, dedicating approximately 75% of work hours to hands-on activities, and 25% to supervising duties.
**Qualifications**:
- 1-2 years of residential framing experience.
- 5+ years of triM/Finish carpentry experience.
- Strong time management and planning skills.
- Punctual, organized, and client-driven.
- Comprehensive knowledge of job site safety and building codes.
- High standards of quality and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
**Other**:
This role also includes a Tool Allowance.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
