**Key Responsibilities**

**Warehouse Operations**:

- Oversee all warehouse activities, including the receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse layout and organization systems to maximize space and workflow.
- Ensure all warehouse equipment, including forklifts, is properly maintained and operated safely.
- Champion a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all company policies and provincial regulations as outlined in The Workplace Safety and Health Act of Manitoba.
- Manage the scheduling and coordination of local and long-distance shipments and deliveries, working closely with carriers and logistics providers.

**Inventory Management**:

- Establish and maintain robust inventory control procedures, including regular cycle counts and full physical inventories, to ensure a high level of accuracy.
- Utilize and optimize the company's warehouse management to track inventory, analyze data, and generate reports.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize carrying costs, making data-driven decisions for reordering.
- Manage the process for handling and disposing of damaged, obsolete, or returned inventory.

**Team Leadership & Management**:

- Recruit, train, and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to a team of warehouse staff.
- Set clear performance goals and expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Create a positive and productive work environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication.
- Handle employee relations and scheduling in accordance with The Employment Standards Code of Manitoba.

**Process Improvement**:

- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfillment time, shipping accuracy, and inventory turnover to drive performance.
- Stay informed of new technologies and industry’s best practices to improve warehouse operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or Inventory Manager in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and supply chain logistics.
- Experience with and a solid understanding of inventory management software and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

 - Ability to perform physical tasks as required, including lifting heavy objects.
- A valid forklift operator license is considered a strong asset.

**Compensation & Benefits**:

- Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7 am - 5:30 pm
- Salary Range: The salary for this position will be competitive and commensurate with experience, negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications.
