Landscape Manager and Lead Hand or Foreman

As a newer company still in it’s startup phase, experiencing trial and error is very present. The role is the company manager is to ensure a functioning service delivery is maintained on a daily basis and always growing into being better.

** Willing to train for the right fit bit plant knowledge is a must.

- Experience and knowledge in the overall health and year round maintenance of gardens within our service region
- Possession of Class 5 or 7 as well as a trailer is an asset but willing to train for driving a trailer

- Ability to attend meetings with clients representing the company

- Ability to work under pressure and problem solve on the spot
- Using the format of our specified procedures on a daily basis and thinking of ways to better improve functionality
- Properly filling out appropriate paper work (garden journals, managemant reports, timesheets, inventory/truck logs, repairs, Analytic reports for quarterly meetingsetc)
- Administrative Tasks
- Ensure that operations are fully functional (equipment/trailers needed for jobs, vehicles are clean and maintenance is up to date)
- Being aware of when hiring is needed to accommodate work load
- Light mechanical knowledge is a bonus (light repairs on site, maintenance on equipment)
- Ensure core values of the company are always present. Strong relationship between team members, quality of service given to our clients, providing support for team when needed etc
- Scheduling and tracking all employees in the most efficient ways
- Looking for strengths in each team member to adjust placement if needed
- Leading team meetings to discuss goals, production, and accountability. Updating of their portfolios from each meeting
- Organization of regular check-in meetings for newer team members under your management
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance, design or a related field
- Knowledge of landscape construction techniques and materials
- Proficiency in operating landscape maintenance equipment and tools
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and clients
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time

**Salary**: $21.00-$35.00 per hour
