**Work sites are located Vancouver/ Lower Mainland: Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Maple Ridge**

**Looking for**:
An experienced reinforcing ironworker (Lead Hand/Foreman) to lead a team to install steel projects.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 4 years experience in rebar/ironworking
- Minimum 1-2 years experience running a crew
- Motivated, hardworking individuals who excel in a team environment
- Reliability and punctuality
- Journeyman/red seal certified an asset

**Job Duties**:

- Lead and direct the installation of rebar in multiple commercial sites
- Effectively manage a crew of 3-10 team members and provide supervision, training and mentorship.
- Read and interpret detail sheets and drawings and communicate directions to team members.
- Ensure construction deadlines are achieved and the quality of every project is at or above standards
- Communicate with management, site superintendents and other team members as needed to ensure company policies are followed and superior customer service is delivered
- Inspect and maintain all site equipment and address the issue when something needs to be fixed or replaced
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures
- Perform physical work like packing, tying and cutting rebar
- Bending, crouching, kneeling involved
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
