**Job Summary**

The role of landscape foreman/forewoman entails organizing daily tasks for the site crew. This would include setting grades and locations for various installations, reading site plans, ordering materials, operating heavy machinery and various hand/power tools. The foreman is also be in charge of keeping the lead hands and labourers on task while providing a fun work environment. The foreman would also be in charge of daily reporting to the supervisor regarding progress on site, and ensuring completion of projects in a timely manner.

**Duties**:

- Assist the site the other team members with various installations, including pavers, retaining walls, forms, concrete, fencing, artificial turf and bulk materials (soil, rock, mulch, etc).
- Set grades, elevations and distances as required and/or as shown on site plans.
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, skidsteers, compactors, cutoff saws, grinders, etc.
- Prepare sites ahead of daily installations.
- Organize/manage site deliveries and assistant with placement, logistics.
- Assist with daily maintenance of equipment, site cleaning, etc.
- Have an eye for detail and quality installations.
- Maintain effective communication with team members and management regarding project updates and any issues that arise.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in the landscape construction industry (two year minimum required).
- Knowledge of retaining wall and paving stone installation processes.
- Practical knowledge and a high level of comfort with various pieces of equipment, including heavy machinery, saws, etc.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A passion for working hard.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
