**Position Description**:
SickKids is hiring three full-time **Echno Sonographers.** As an Echo Sonographer you will obtain high quality ultrasound images of the heart and related structures.

**Here’s What You’ll Get To Do**:

- Perform technical, analytical and educational functions for the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease
- Act as a resource to other staff, fellows and visiting personnel
- Act as a member of the health care team
- Integrate research into practice and create, utilize and/or disseminate new knowledge

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:

- Background in Human Sciences preferably with a BSc or higher
- **American Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Certification**:

- Some training in Paediatric or Adult Echocardiography
- Previous echocardiography experience preferably in a paediatric environment
- Excellent knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and paediatric surgical procedures
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and teaching skills
- Demonstrated ability to for critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork
- Strong customer service focus
- Attention to detail and efficient time management skills
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Basic proficiency with computers

**Employment Type** Permanent full-time; 1.0 FTE. _Includes access to health & dental benefits, pension plan, 3 weeks vacation to start, and paid sick days._
