The Toronto Cardiac Clinic is seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our medical team. The Sonographer will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis of various cardiac medical conditions. This includes standard echoes, Stress echoes as well as contrast and bubble echoes.QualificationsMust have graduated from a recognized echocardiography programMust hold an active membership with Sonography Canada or the ARDMSMember must be in good standing with the CMRITOMust be able to meet the physical demands of the positionDemonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbalDemonstrated problem solving skillsDemonstrated commitment to customer service and teamworkDemonstrated individual leadership skillsResponsibilities:Able to independently perform TTE studiesAble to review requisitions and patient history to identify physician’s requirements and to check with the supervising cardiologist if uncertainAble to ensure the proper process is followed in the performance of the requested service and that the testing performed is accurate and valid and all the required views are takenAble to maintain and apply program accreditation standards to all the studiesAnalyze technical information to provide preliminary findings to healthcare providersEnsure patient comfort and safety during proceduresMaintain accurate patient records and adhere to data protection regulationsSkills:Knowledge of medical terminologyStrong communication skills to interact with patients, staff and healthcare professionalsAttention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposesExperience with Velox and Accuro an asset.Join our team as a Sonographer and contribute to providing high-quality healthcare services through accurate diagnostic imaging. #J-18808-Ljbffr
