**Summary**:
Reporting to the Controller, the Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk is responsible for entering and processing accounts payables and receivables. We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and proactive team member who enjoys a challenging and fast-paced work environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Enter, match and accurately code accounts payables
- Process and file invoices for payment
- Oversee monthly vendor statements and resolve any invoice discrepancies
- Maintain a good standing relationship with accounts payable vendors
- Manage and reconcile company credit and fuel cards
- Enter customer invoices/credits and prepare monthly customer statements
- Enter bank deposits and reconcile customer accounts
- Provide management with weekly aging reports for all outstanding payables and receivables
- Assist with month-end close

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years experience in an accounts payable role
- Training or post-secondary education in accounting is an asset
- Strong customer service skills when dealing with vendors and customer accounts
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently, following detailed procedures and tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in the construction industry would be considered an asset
- Handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
