**Responsibilities**:
PRIMARY PURPOSE

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Leads the functional support process of collaborating with internal clients across CMBC to identify opportunities to streamline and improve EAM while considering stakeholders’ perspectives.

Develops and recommends functional strategies on short-term and long-term goals regarding EAM, anticipating barriers to success and formulating innovative and proactive solutions to address those barriers and leads implementation of these functional strategies.

Manages the functional configuration and testing of improvements to EAM and related interfaces. Exercises judgement and makes recommendations on complex technical and processing requirements that are not fully covered by current policies and procedures thereby relying on past best practices for guidance and ensuring recommendations are effective and sustainable. Maintains information on best practice and leverages findings to enhance EAM and related processes.

Manages the process of incident investigation, management and resolution for EAM, overseeing and delegating tasks among the EAM functional support team as necessary and articulating and escalating issues to TransLink BTS’ CMBC EAM Product team that require technical involvement.

Collaborates with stakeholders across CMBC and management to ensure EAM processes are both integrated and aligned with the corporate vision. Maintains process documentation. Evaluates the impact of process changes to the business, providing change management and post change support to ensure success.

Identifies opportunities for gaining efficiencies through business process streamlining related to processes involving EAM, its data or reports and implements organizational change management for identified changes. Leads action plans, delivers appropriate process enhancements and makes decisions based on analytical findings.

Ensures integrity and reliability of EAM and the related interfaces by conducting analyses and provides interpretations and critical recommendations towards systems support issues and improvements.

Manages the process of creating and maintaining reports necessary for managerial decision making throughout CMBC. Provides technical expertise, training and guidance to ensure performance standards are maintained and outcomes achieved. Develops and maintains a report catalog for EAM.

Manages reporting staff, including selection, development, coaching, performance management and other people practices.

**Qualifications**:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The requirement of the role can be acquired by completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or other related discipline with courses in information technology plus six (6) years’ experience in progressively responsible roles, preferably four (4) years in a supervisory role in a large organization with an enterprise asset management system.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Advanced knowledge of theories, concepts, and principles of enterprise asset management systems and integration concepts.

Knowledge and experience of Agile methodology and working with Agile teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills to explain technical matters.

Advanced skills in MS office software, including Excel, and web-based systems together with knowledge of database fundamentals and proficiency in the use of database query and reporting tools such as SQL, PowerBI and Cognos.

Advanced analytical skills to perform complex reconciliations and audit of data.

Advanced problem solving and decision-making skills to identify and address roadblocks and critical issues that would impact business process transformation and project deliverables.

Strong supervisory skills with solid ability to coach and train employees.

Excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure critical deadlines are met.
