- Do you think you have the ability and drive to keep up with this exciting, ever-changing industry? Whether it be in front of the camera, on air, online or behind the scenes, you would be joining a team that thrives on making connections and telling stories that are important to Canadians.
**Your role**
This position is new to CBC in the Maritimes. The producer will create journalistic content in innovative and engaging ways that is relevant and reflective of the people who live in the Maritime provinces. The producer must be comfortable working autonomously, building relationships and planning projects. They know how to engage others, how to set goals and use data to measure success. Creativity is a must. So is a commitment to learning from and with others.

- Being a resource to CBC show producers and teams that are planning new community connections for their show. Consulting on tactics and advising on an approach.
- Identifying, developing and maintaining contacts with community members and groups.
- Developing and sustaining relationships with creators new to CBC, mentoring and coaching them.
- Conceiving and developing community content ideas, concepts and multi-platform, multi-program rollouts in collaboration with program producers and the communications and marketing team.

- Determining style, tone, line-up and format of the program or project.
- Planning, organizing, coordinating and implementing the components and/or segments of a content series or community project.
