**Position Summary**:
The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets within their assigned territory. This role involves actively prospecting, presenting product solutions, and providing excellent customer service to drive revenue growth and strengthen Topigs Norsvin’s market presence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for scouting out prospects and signing new customers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries
- Grow sales volume and keep current with changing industry trends
- Provide insights and recommendations to the Regional Sales Manager to support strategic development
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM
- Responsible for regular reports on sales performance, customers, and key opportunities
- Collaborate with team members to provide support with all aspects of technical product knowledge and support to address customer questions and concerns

**Working Conditions**:

- Must be able to travel around the assigned territory as needed.
- May require evening or weekend work travel
- May require hands-on barn work
- Must not co-habit with an individual who works in the swine industry

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Post secondary education in Business, Agri-Business, or Agriculture preferred
- Experience in the swine industry would be considered an asset
- Proficient in all Microsoft Platforms and CRM Platforms
- Willingness and ability to travel around the assigned territory as needed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
