**Overnight Awake Residential Care Worker (80 hours bi-weekly) - Richmond - BC**
**Full Time**

This role supports individuals with developmental disabilities who live in our
Supported Living homes to contribute and participate fully in their community.

**YOUR IMPACT**:

- Provide direct support for individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve
- goals based on their own preferences, beliefs and desires.- Establish respectful relationships which promote dignity and empower
- individuals to make informed decisions.- Encourage individuals to communicate their needs and build connections; to
- live self-determined lives in the community surrounded by friends and family.- Work as part of a team to assist individuals to identify and achieve personal
- goals; providing input and progress reports as needed.- Perform personal care as required.

**YOUR CAPABILITIES**:

- Relevant post-secondary education in related field and at least six months

experience supporting people with developmental disabilities in a similar
environment.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Clear, current Criminal Records Check.
- Valid BC Driver’s License.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of an
- organization.- Reliable problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
- Able to work flexible hours, based on support needs.
