**Community Support Worker (Casual) - Richmond, BC Starting wage $25.95-$26.83 per hour (plus 10.6% in lieu of vacation and stats)**

Working in one of our four Adult Day Programs (LIFE), this role supports individuals with developmental disabilities to experience improved quality of life, social inclusion, and achieve individual goals.

**YOUR IMPACT**:

- Provide direct staff support for individuals with developmental disabilities, including people with complex and/or challenging behaviour or support needs.
- Establish respectful relationships with individuals which promote their dignity and well-being.
- Support individuals to achieve goals based on their own choice, beliefs and desires.
- Encourage individuals to build connections; to live self-determined lives in the community surrounded by friends and family.

**YOUR CAPABILITIES**:

- Relevant post-secondary education in related field and at least six months experience supporting people with developmental disabilities in a similar environment.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Clear, current Criminal Records Check.
- Valid BC Driver’s License, Class 4 Preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of an organization.
- Reliable problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
