**Job Summary**:
The primary responsibility of the Operation Clerk is to process the daily operations of wire payments, investigations, clean bill collections, EFT Reports and SWIFT management of the Operations Department, and ensure, established deadlines are met. Ensure Comply with all applicable policies, standards, guidelines and controls during daily operation.
**Responsibilities and Accountability**:
- Monitor and dispatch incoming SWIFT messages to various systems and departments in a timely manner.
- Repair and process wire payments in the system, Ensure funds reach beneficiaries in a timely manner with the highest degree of data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Monitor payment queues to ensure all items are processed timely and cleared by end of the day.
- Process investigation requests for payments and other queries in a timely manner.
- Process accounting entries as required.
- Collect service charges.
- Process and settle clean bill collections.
- Identify and correct for the daily EFT Batch report.
- Ensure all index files are updated and accurate.
- Handle other payment process-related duties as assigned in the department.
**Job Specifications**:
- College Diploma / Bachelor's Degree, preferably commerce, accounting, finance or other related major.
- Basic Banking/Accounting/Computer knowledge.
- Ability to meet established deadlines in a fast paces environment.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
- Initiative and ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Work under pressure and multi-task.
- Honest and loyal to the bank.
- Additional language ability: Mandarin/Cantonese Chinese.
