**Your Role**:
This role reports into the Manager, Global Content Development. The Technical Writer designs, writes, and delivers all technical product documentation for one or more products in the Magnet Forensics portfolio. This position works with cross-functional teams, which include other technical writers, digital content designers, UX designers, product managers, engineers, forensics investigators, and customer-facing teams to deliver clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation and user interface (UI) strings.
**What You Will Accomplish**:
- Maintain the entire product documentation suite for one or more products (for example, administration guides, installation guides, user guides, and release notes) in alignment with regular product releases;
- Revise documentation to incorporate product updates and product enhancements requested by customers and internal users;
- Partner with the Technical Support and Customer Success Management teams to understand and respond to customer enablement needs;
**What We Are Looking For**:
**Required Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, related program, or relevant experience;
- 3-7 years of experience in a technical writing position;
- Ability to use a content management system (for example, Madcap Flare) for authoring and building documentation;
- Ability to exercise technical documentation best practices, including structured writing, and mínimalism;
- Advanced understanding of grammar, spelling, and punctuation;
- Strong proficiency in proofreading/editing, writing, and verbal communication;
- Highly organized with great attention to detail and strong time management skills;
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in an agile environment;
- Strong sense of teamwork, personal integrity, and accountability;
- Strong self-starter attitude with excellent problem-solving skills;
- Ability to learn quickly and a passion for new technologies;
- Proficiency with standard defect-tracking and source control software like Jira, GitHub, and Azure DevOps;
- Experience with HTML and CSS.

- MIN: $76,300**:
- MID: $109,000 - MAX: $130,800 CAD
