**Energy Modeller / Technical Writer**

Rombald Inc. is an expanding engineering firm based in Waterloo, Ontario, servicing the **building design market sector**. We provide electrical and mechanical design services for power distribution, lighting, life safety, communications, plumbing, HVAC and energy efficiency solutions for a wide range of clients in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and the Yukon Territories.

**We have an opening for an Energy Modeller / Technical Writer.**

The role will include energy modelling and technical report writing, but will also include specification writing and design work, and therefore knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and some experience in **AutoCAD LT** and/or **Revit** would be beneficial. Experience with **eQuest **is essential.

**Description of Duties**:
You will work alongside electrical and mechanical design professionals and be responsible for energy modelling and writing technical reports as well as assisting with the design, drawing development, specifications and construction review of projects in the electrical and mechanical fields.

Also expect to be involved with client interface to coordinate electrical and mechanical systems with architectural and structural components of a building system.

Rombald offers compensation commensurate with the applicant’s prior experience and education.

- 40 hours per week standard plus possible occasional overtime work to meet specific deliverable commitments.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$54,000.00 per year
