**Job Description: Order Entry Clerk**

**Report to: Sales Manager (Canada)**

**Job Summary**

The Order Entry Clerk is the key representative of the Company and an integral part of the order intake process. The Order Entry Clerk is responsible for ensuring customer orders are input and processed efficiently. While providing excellent customer service, the Order Entry Clerk will be required to assist the
Sales team in communicating orders updates to our customers.
- Act as the physical first point of contact between the company and any guests visiting Shashi Foods

Inc and for any customers calling in looking for support.
- Promptly respond to sales inquiries and confirm receipt of purchase orders accordingly
- Provide shipment and picking information to warehouse
- Ensure customer orders are packed, shipped, invoiced to customer
- Ensure pricing is accurate and consistent on quotes and invoices
- Manage order flow as required and provide updates on outstanding orders
- Engage with customers regarding pricing, returns, order status, back orders
- Cancel and revise orders as needed
- Filing and storage of data and orders
- Work with Sales Manager to meet any customer requests/sales administration duties including but not limited to customer account setup, providing order status updates, or completing documents
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints, related to the delivery of goods
- Assist in preparing meeting materials and distribute sales related documentation as needed

**Main requirements for this position**:

- University or college degree, preferably majoring in Sales and Marketing
- 1-2 years’ experience in administrative support function
- Good time management, organization, planning, coordination skills
- Exceptional Problem-solving skills
- Good customer service, communication, teamwork skills

**Note: The duties for this position are not limited to the above, they may change from time to time based on the changes of the business needs.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

- Bonus pay
