Bugs Heat Terminator is a growing pest control company servicing the GTA and surrounding areas looking to hire a data entry clerk to join our team. The employee for this position should be skilled and responsible with attention to detail and communication skills. You will be working in a small office environment along side the administrative team.

**Data Entry Clerk Job Responsibilities**:

- Maintains database by entering new and updated customer and account information.
- Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information.
- Establishes entry priorities.
- Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies.
- Resolves deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
- Enters customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard
- Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
- Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
- Combines data when account information is incomplete.
- Purges files to eliminate duplication of data.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

**Data Entry Clerk Skills / Qualifications**:

- Fluent in English
- Ability to read and write in English
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a highly preferred skill for the position but not required.
- Organization skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to think analytically
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to entre data into a computer accurately
- Comfortable with office equipment including, printer, scanner and photocopier.
- Confidentiality
- Thoroughness

**Education and Experience Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year data entry experience or related office experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
