**Summary**

The Product Manager, Livestock is responsible for the strategic management of the cattle, equine, swine, poultry, and genetics animal product portfolios. Zoetis holds a portfolio of brands at the front lines of innovation and the product manager is responsible for the creation of campaigns to support promoting those brands on various platforms and must be well versed on the use of digital marketing platforms to provide a seamless and continuously improving customer journey.

**Responsibilities**
- Leads the strategic planning process in the development of the annual operating and five year plans through a cross-functional team of Marketing/Field Sales/Sales Management and Veterinary Operation to identify opportunities in order to best achieve performance
- Manages brand planning associated with financial cycles to ensure they meet expectations of profitability, volume, and market share
- Develops partnerships with internal and external customers to support the business and ensure strong relationships and an ongoing advisory network is in place
- Enables field operations, working internally and with external agencies to produce high impact and efficient digital and print assets and programs to engage multi-layered customers.
- Collaborates with the Global Asset Team, to represent the needs of the Canadian Market for product development and evergreening, as well as in the development of core branding assets supported by the Centre of Excellence (CoE) to ensure best practice is used throughout planning across the full portfolio.
- Coordinates with the supply function to ensure product availability from launch and on an ongoing basis while minimizing write-offs
- Forge strong relationship with key stakeholders in the brand portfolio space through the veterinary community
- Using Zoetis best practice guidelines, work with the brand teams in the annual planning process to understand key growth drivers.
- Develop and define the digital marketing strategy and ensure ongoing delivery of that strategy to meet the needs of the target customer. Lead customer journey mapping and persona development with the brand teams.
- Define KPIs for Digital Marketing and ensure campaigns and content continually meet the needs of the customer and achieve the business objectives.
- Define, own, and make recommendations for search engine optimisation (SEO) and search engine management (SEM) strategy and execution.
- Identify with relevant Business Unit members, the target customer personas that will be engaged through digital channels.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelors Degree (Science or Business), M.B.A. (is an asset)
- Minimum of 5-10 years of related experience with a proven track record in sales or marketing with at least 5 years' experience in Digital Marketing
- Experience in marketing of pharmaceutical, B2B technical products or animal health products is an asset
- Extensive knowledge from experience of digital marketing techniques to increase customer engagement, retention, and improve user experience
- Demonstrated strong strategic, analytical, and financial management skills
- Proven leadership and teamwork abilities in situations with cross-functional accountabilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage and be a champion of change
- Strong analytical skills, critical observation skills, sound judgement
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, negotiation)
- Strong English oral and written skills. Bilingualism (French) is an asset
- Available for occasional travel
- Proficiency in various digital marketing systems such as:

- Salesforce and Crownpeak(or similar Enterprise CMS platform like EpiServer, SiteCore, Adobe, Acquia)
- Google Analytics, Adwords and Social Media
- Hybris eCommerce (desired)
- Basic design and HTML skills (Desired)
- Knowledge of Pitcher/eDetailing (Desired)
