**Overview**
We are seeking a Snow Division Manager who will is responsible for the overall operation and functionality of the commercial snow division (tasks include: quality control, dispatch (calling in all operators and shovelers prior to each storm), recruitment and training along with a heavy role in customer service and damage repair coordination.

**Responsibilities**

**Operations**
- Storm watch and make decision as per outing times
- Inform all staff (drivers, shovelers, admin, etc.) of the plan (outing details, start/end, etc.)
- Quality control of commercial snow removal (both loader operators, and shovelers)
- In pick-up with plow, or in tractor (depending on requirements)
- Dispatch on-road and in-office
- Manage parking lot hauling with operators and manage dumps
- Ensure sites are managed and free of ice and hazards

**Quality Control**
- Spot check routes to ensure and optimize driver & shoveling team performance
- Ensure all sites are kept up to DLC standards and follow site maps outlined and agreed upon by client

**Recruitment & Training**
- Operator training (hands-on):

- New operators & shoveling crew chiefs must drive routes w/ manager x1 and alone x5
- Veteran operators/shovelers on new routes must drive route x 3
- Run training sessions:

- In-machine training w/ new operators (October - December)
- On snow shoveling equipment
- Orientation before season begins
- Observe operators and shovelers in field and ensure proper techniques are being used
- Coach employees, should issue with routes arise often

**Customer Service**
- Manage damage resolution with head office administrator

**Experience**
- High school leaving or higher
- Previous 3+ years in team and fleet management
- Previous 5+ years experience in snow removal operators (operator or management role)

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
