**Nature & Scope**

Working as part of the kitchen brigade at The Fairway Room restaurant at Ledgeview Golf Club, the Restaurant and Prep Cook will support the culinary team with food preparation, station setup, and service execution. This role is focused on maintaining high food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

**The Ideal Applicant Should**:

- Have 1-2 years of professional kitchen experience or demonstrate strong culinary skills and aptitude
- Be comfortable working in a structured kitchen environment with evolving menus
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be organized, efficient, and proactive in kitchen prep and service
- Show a desire to learn and grow within a professional kitchen
- Have a flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Food preparation, mise en place, station setup and service (restaurant and events)
- Timely execution during service
- Follow direction from the Chef and Sous Chef with professionalism
- Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices in accordance with Food Safe standards
- Keep prep and line areas clean, stocked, and organized
- Assist with dishwashing, waste management, and general cleaning as needed
- Uphold the restaurant’s standard of quality, presentation, and cleanliness
- Support a positive team environment and contribute to an efficient workflow

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business volume and needs
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Basic phone with data is required for internal scheduling and communication
- Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to and from Ledgeview Golf Club
