This posting is for all **Business/Commerce, Accounting, Finance**student positions in **Calgary.** **Possible placement includes**: **Business/Commerce**: Student, Marketing Analytics; Student, Commercial Support; Student, Trading Analyst; Student, Downstream Planning; Student, Supply Optimization; Student, Crude & Diluent Commercial Logistics; Student, Corporate Development; Student, Project Controls **Accounting**: Student, Accounting & Finance; Student, Corporate Accounting; Student, Royalty Accounting; Student, Joint Venture Accounting; Student, Treasury; Student, SOX Compliance & Advisory; Student, US Tax / Planning & International **Finance**: Student, Investment Appraisal & Portfolio Management; Student, Budgets & Forecast; Student, Reporting & Analytics; Student, Risk Analytics **What you’ll do** Responsibilities may vary depending on the specific position assigned to but they may include: **External Reporting** - Assist in the preparation of external and legal entity financial documents for regulatory bodies and other stakeholders. - Support data validation and accuracy in compliance with financial reporting standards. - Collaborate with internal reporting teams to ensure alignment of internal reports with external and legal entity disclosures. **Marketing Accounting** - Record and analyze financial transactions related to refining and marketing operations. - Prepare variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance. - Support financial reporting processes, budgeting, and operational risk management. **Commercial & Development Pipelines & Terminals** - Assist in developing and maintaining financial models for pipeline and terminal projects. - Support the preparation of business cases, economic analyses, and financial forecasts. - Work closely with Commercial & Development Advisors to analyze market data and investment opportunities. **Who you are** - Available to begin work in **May 2026.** - Ability to work well in a team environment. - Solid analytical and Microsoft Suite skills, specifically Excel. - Excellent interpersonal, judgement, and decision-making skills.
