**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Operate Automated Traffic Enforcement equipment
- Operate within the Alberta Automated Traffic Enforcement Guideline
- Uploads / Notes / Review
- Attend court when required
- Other duties agreed upon

**Qualifications**:

- Preference will be given to applicants with law enforcement experience. (Traffic/Police experience or equivalences will be considered)
- Must be able to meet all the requirements of the Alberta Public Safety and Emergency Services to obtain a Peace Officer Appointment
- Technology savvy with the ability to learn new systems.
- Able to work independently and conduct themselves in a mature & professional manner.
- A strong communicator with high attention to detail to support note taking.
- Flexible with the ability to coordinate schedules with peers.
- People-oriented, displaying a positive and helpful attitude.
- Able to de-escalate tense situations when interacting with the public while maintaining a calm demeanour.

**Work Conditions**:

- This position is required to work a variety of shifts, which include days, evenings, and weekends. This position works 10hr shifts and an average of 40hrs/week

**Location**: St. Albert, AB

**This role requires the individual to live in the greater Edmonton, AB area.

**Conditions of Employment**:

- Successful applicant will be required to obtain a satisfactory criminal background check.
- Successful applicant will be required to provide a clean drivers abstract and claims experience history to the satisfaction of our insurance carrier to provide coverage.
