- Must be able to learn various systems utilized by Yakima Chief (X2 (ERP), Solochain (WMS), Concur, PayCom, Prophix, Power BI, etc.) to perform data entry & print reports.
- Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Preferably bilingual (English & French are a must).
**Job Summary**:
- The purpose of this position is to maintain accurate inventory records, investigate, and troubleshoot inventory and allocations issues in the WMS and ERP systems.
- Foster a collaborative work environment that will ensure a smooth flow between the Inside Sales team and Shipping. Provide guidance for shipment of finished Hop products to our customers.
- Help facilitate the shipping of YCH products from one location to another.
- Assist with developing processes that make the YCH supply chain more efficient and organized. Manage day-to-day administrative functions of the entity.
**Job Duties**:
**General**
- Manage the Shipping team which includes, but is not limited to:
- Daily picking and packing of various shipments
- Maintain timesheets
- Record and maintain expense reports
- Train new employees
- Participate in meetings pertaining to the department.
- Oversee the organization of the warehouse for the utmost efficiency.
- Operate the following equipment:
- Forklift
- Shrink-wrap machine
- WMS scanning equipment
- Report all equipment issues to Maintenance and/or arrange repairs to equipment with appropriate vendors.
- Review schedules, reports, and workload to determine personnel or material requirements.
- Confer with department supervision or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes.
- Continuously look for ways to improve process efficiency and notify immediate supervisor of observations and recommendations.
- Direct the activities of the forklift drivers to ensure the shipping warehouses maintain a high accuracy of inventory physically and virtually in both the ERP and WMS systems.
- Assist in the procurement of supplies to ensure YCH operations run smoothly and efficiently.
**Inventory**
- Investigate and resolve issues with inventory.
- Troubleshoot allocation issues and inventory discrepancies between the ERP and WMS systems.
- Participate in the cycle counts process in assigned warehouses and send counts on time to finance department.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts with warehouse and FGX crew and notify appropriate personnel to update changes in the ERP and WMS systems.
- Proactively manage transfers of products into the shipping warehouses to maintain a steady supply of product to streamline the shipping process.
- Direct and oversee consolidation processes within the shipping warehouses.
- Work in conjunction with Lean Manufacturing Principles to attain maximum efficiency in the FGX operation and between other operations.
