_**PURPOSE**:_
- Responsible to assist and control warehouse inventory of the business. Duties include but not limited to:

- **MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES**:_
- Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company and customer policies.
- Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories.
- Assess inventory input and output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity.
- Manage cycle counts of product inventories on a regular basis.
- Lead others in safe work practices, especially when in a distribution center environment.
- File claims when defective products are discovered.
- Coordinate with customer service and logistics departments.
- Check date-sensitive products for expiration and facilitate removal or transfer of product as needed.
- Perform process and system testing and track performance by area to locate and solve problems in data integrity, productivity, and efficiency.
- Train other employees in controlling inventory.
- Establish trusted relationships with customers to ensure quality service.
- Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures to maximize efficiency and cut operations errors & costs.
- Track rates of accuracy as well as defective items to make quality control decisions.
- Prepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports and review reports monthly with management.
- Nurture positive relationships with co-workers.
- Manage the BRC documentation to ensure all forms are completed correctly and on time.
- Review BRC and Food Safety policies to ensure they reflect the current and changing business and customers.
- Meet with Food Safety Consultants to review the program and ensure the program is up to date and managed properly.
- Perform all other HACCP Coordinator duties set out by the Food Safety Program.
- **QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE**:_

**Education**: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

**Experience**:2 + years of cycle counting inventory experience, Relevant supervisory experience managing, coordinating and leading teams is preferred

**Training**: DOT HAZMAT, OSHA, HAZWOPER
**Certification**: Forklift operator, Fall protection and working at heights.

**COMPUTER**: Microsoft Office Software, Outlook, WMS system

- Ability to independently handle multiple projects.
- Exceptional multitasking skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
