**Summary of Position**:
The Commercial Account Executive will be responsible to deliver the strategic vision of the brokerage through the implementation and management of sound operational practices while giving excellent customer service and upholding high service standards.
Primarily responsible for maintaining a book of business and writing new business by evaluating client needs and providing risk management and insurance advice in the best interests of the client.
**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:
- Prospecting, soliciting, quoting and developing new business in order to meet new business sales goals
- Maintaining and servicing a book of business with the assistance of an Account Manager
- Identifying client and prospect insurance needs and developing innovative and cost-effective solutions
- Analyzing existing and prospective client’s coverage and identifying gaps in coverage or insufficient limits, obtaining quotes and clearly communicating this to the client
- Conduct meeting with clients in person or virtually, maintain client and insurance company relationships
- Maximizing growth and client retention by responding to client inquiries promptly and professionally
- Cross selling and upselling
- Maintain quality business by adhering to underwriting rules and good business practices
- Collection and management of Account Receivables
- Develop and maintain a positive, cooperative, professional image with clients, company personnel and other staff members
- Keep informed of markets, products and pricing issues
- Coordinates with and advises the Account Manager on any claim or loss settlement and assists clients in documenting claims and in dealing with adjusters as necessary
- Coordinating the discussion of renewal strategies with the Account Manager at least 90 days in advance of the renewal
- Negotiating and securing the most appropriate coverage and premium based upon client needs and availability in the marketplace for both new and renewal business.
- Contributing to team success by consistently leveraging knowledge and sharing best practices
- Attending sales meetings and events as required
- Adhere to company and regulatory policies & procedures together with mandatory training requirements.
- Other duties as may arise or assigned by management

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
